Modular sounds redefined
Crosstalk Modular doesn’t just do the wiring for you. It combines modular samples with the unique layering and processing options of the Crosstalk engine. 10 Phantom Rooms captured the sounds by wiring tons of modules from boutique gear builders and recording partly in 96 kHz. These samples were then transformed into an innovative instrument with features you won’t find anywhere else, like real-time morphing and creative sound pumping (aka crosstalking) for all four sound layers individually. Dive into a blend of vintage and modern processing powers and create sounds you’ve never heard before!
Four layers can be combined, randomized and leveled while each layer has individual settings for the unique crosstalking feature.
Three sound variations per preset can be morphed via mouse or mod wheel for significant sound changes with just one movement.
Seven macros have been individually designed for each preset to, for example, change the filter cutoff for all layers simultaneously.

Crosstalk Modular was created by innovative instrument developer, 10 Phantom Rooms. Specializing in next-generation Kontakt instruments for film and media composers, the company was founded by pro sound and instrument designer Tobias Menguser, alongside Paul Haslinger and other creative minds. With a career spanning three decades, Tobias has created sounds and instruments for many of the industry’s biggest names, including providing sounds for more than 600 movie trailers.
