Australian producer Nuxe is known for his precision, versatility, and genre-defying sound. ‘Lofi Indie & Bedroom Vocals’ feels both analog and contemporary, blending timeless, emotion-led samples with a contemporary edge. Created in collaboration with multi-instrumentalist Lucy Sugerman, the pack delves into lofi indie, sweet folk themes, and alt-pop, with the aura of undiscovered bedroom demo tapes. Lucy invites listeners into her world with quirky, relatable storytelling delivered through heartfelt vocal melodies that retain an emotive punch. Imperfections have been kept and embraced, raw recordings mixed with modern sound design. Nuxe compliments Lucy’s vocals with acoustic guitar, live piano, and ukulele, layered with warm analog synths and tap-textured warmth. Samples have been tastefully flipped, resampled, and reimagined to create chops, ambient vocals, and tonal texture layers.

Nuxe has been making music for over a decade covering a wide variety of genres with a strong focus on hip-hop, rap, and lofi. His expertise extends beyond his own music and he’s made a significant impact in the producer community with his highly acclaimed sample packs. Nuxe has collaborated with an array of artists including Rxseboy, Powfu, Snøw, Sarcastic Sounds, and more.

Hailing from Canberra, Australia, Lucy Sugerman has a sixth sense for storytelling and a gift for crafting assured melodic hooks. Following two independent EP releases and contributions to award-winning albums, Lucy is now focused on writing and creating her next chapter of darker, folkier songs.
