Each of the 5 presets in Kadence offers a dynamic vocal experience, with two vocal layers (C2-C7) and a textured pad layer on the lower keys (C0-B1). Vocal Layer 1 has more reverb, giving it a distant, ethereal quality, while Vocal Layer 2 is more present and prominent. When combined, these layers create a beautiful, deep, and evocative vocal texture. The lower pad delivers a rich ambient soundscape, blending perfectly with the vocals to create a full, immersive instrument. You can also let the vocal layers shine on their own for an equally captivating sound.

At the heart of Kadence is a simple and intuitive interface designed for both playability and flexibility. Each preset is equipped with 8 smart controllers, giving you full control over the depth, tone, reverb, and levels of both the vocal and pad layers. Controls
Magic: Add mystical, delayed tones to your sound for an enchanting, atmospheric feel.
Shimmer: Create an enchanting, ethereal effect with a magical delay that adds a glowing touch to your audio.
Tone: Sculpt your sound with precision, dialling in bright, crisp clarity or warming it up for a vintage flavour.
Depth: Introduce deep, textured ambience to your mix, adding rich layers of sonic atmosphere.
Vocal 1: Adjust the volume of the vocal 1 layer
Vocal 2: Adjust the volume of the vocal 2 layer.
Pad: Control the pad layer’s volume to blend it smoothly with the vocals.
Vocal Attack: Fine-tune how quickly the vocal comes in.
Pad LPF: Use the low pass filter on the pad to adjust its texture, creating anything from light, airy tones to darker, more moody textures.

Full MIDI Control
Assign any knob or slider to a MIDI CC Controller by right-clicking it, selecting ‘Learn MIDI CC Automation’ and moving your desired control.

All eight knobs support ‘Host Automation’ so you can automate them in your DAW. In Logic Pro, use Smart Controls, and in Cubase, Quick Controls.

For Maschine users, the eight knobs are pre-mapped to the controller knobs for easy access.
