Soniccouture Polarity Tension 是一套以“张力与不稳定”为核心概念打造的 KONTAKT 实验音色库，整体声音源自工业机械、延展弦乐演奏与抽象人声采样，通过双层颗粒合成引擎重塑，呈现出充满对比感、物理质感与生命力的声音世界，非常适合塑造紧张、压迫与未知氛围。

音色库并非传统意义上的预设集合，而更像是一组可演奏的声音场景，通过 Grain、Character、Movement 与 Space 四个宏控制即可实时推动音色向不同方向演化，生成复杂而富有表现力的纹理互动。这种设计强调声音的不完美与动态变化，适合深度声音设计、电影与游戏配乐中的情绪推进与空间塑造。

It is designed to create immersive sonic worlds from raw, physical sound.
Built entirely from custom recordings of industrial machinery, extended string techniques and abstract vocalizations;
Polarity | Tension offers a palette that feels intentional, unstable, and alive with detail.

DEVELOPED WITH K/V
Soniccouture worked in collaboration with creative audio team K/V (Ramon Kerstens and Richard Veenstra) to create Polarity | Tension.

The sound design in Polarity | Tension reflects K/V’s varied background: in music, sound art, and game audio. With years of experience working with Native Instruments, Arturia, Steinberg, Orchestral Tools, and others, K/V approach sound design as a musical and expressive process, rooted in imperfection and detail.

GRAIN CHARACTER MOVEMENT SPACE
Each Polarity | Tension preset can be pushed in totally different sonic directions, creating complex interactions between textures.

The four macro controls; Grain, Character, Movement, and Space provide hands-on, expressive control over the instrument’s sound. They come pre-mapped to NKS for each snapshot but can also be reassigned to control any parameter the user chooses.

Not so much a collection of presets, more a set of sonic vignettes.
